Summary: Gerard is a world famous artist for his Murder Scene genre. After 3 years of only allowing photographs of his drawings and paintings online, he is finally allowing his first painting – known as Death Wish, to be hung in a gallery in New York. However, just down the street there is a life size replica of his painting, only instead of red paint, its blood.

It's been 6 months since we got....Snoopy and I'll tell you something, it's been pretty weird.
It's almost as if, she's...trying to take my place.
Werid right?
Well, at first she was being all sly and sneeky but then, I consulted Jon and he agreed with me.
I first noticed it when Ryan and I were about to go to bed. Normally, we'd put her in her cage or let her sleep on the floor in her basket. Not this time though.
Ryan had already gone up to get into something more...comfortable and I was downstairs tyring to calm my breathing. Basically to stop myself running up the stairs and ravishing him.
I walked up after 4 minuets - yes I was counting the seconds.
So, I'd reached the bedroom and I saw Ryan, asleep with his arms around Snoopy, but, that's not all, Snoopy was almost...spooning Ryan. Yes, spooning.
It made my heart drop. That night I slept on the couch.

The second time was when Ryan and I were going out to dinner.
I had booked a table at the best resturant in town. I mean the best.
It was almost impossible to get reservations but I did it. I had to pay the guy 250 bucks. That did make a big hole in my pocket...
Ryan got in the driver's side because, he was the only one who could legally drive. I always fuck up on my exams - I get too nervous.
I opened the passenger side door and guess who was sitting in my seat. Yes that's right Santa Clause. Please ignore my sadistic sence of humor. Yes, Snoopy. Snoopy was in my seat.
"Uh...Ryan."
"Yeah?"
"Why's she in my seat?"
"She's coming with us!" His face was bright when he said this.
"No, Ry, she isn't."
"...why?"
"Because, 1. The resturant won't allow dogs and 2. Because it's our special night."
"...but I want her to come with me. I could prentend to be blind."
I rolled my eyes.
"If she goes, I don't."
And with that I walked back inside.

Yes, Ryan and ....it, when to dinner. And of course, he used my fucking card to pay.
When they came back, I was sleeping on the couch. Yes, was that fucking mutt woke me up.
"FUCK OFF YOU STOP DOG!"
"BRENDON!"
Uhoh, I made him mad.
"How dare you speak to her like that!"
"How dare you use my card to pay for your meals!"
He seemed taken back. As if, shocked I knew.
"Brendon I-"
"Save it Ryan."
I walked upstairs and locked myself in the guest bedroom.

The third time I noticed was the final straw.
I woke up in the guest room. My head hurt and I felt ill.
I picked up my bathrob and headed towards the bedroom.
As I walked down the hallway I noticed something about all the pictures of me and Ryan.
I stopped and looked at my favourite one closely.
It was the day I asked Ryan to marry me. We're in a field with grass up to our knees. We're covered in mud and our clothes are ripped but I have to say, it was the happiest moment of my life.
But this wasn't my favourite photo. No it wasn't.
There was Ryan, smiling like the bad man he was.
And there she was.
Sat on his knee smiling. I had been cut out off the photograph completely. It was Ryan and Snoopy.
I wasn't in the picture. Oh, that was the final straw.
I stormed into my room.
I grabbed a bag and began to stuff my clothes in.
"Bren?"
"What do you want Ryan?"
"What are you doing?"
His voice sounded soft and fragile.
"I'm packing my stuff."

A Message From Gerard
Hey guys, Gerard here... I'm hanging out with Mikey in New Jersey, relaxing, drinking coffee, talking comics, and getting ready to take a drive down south tomorrow. I don't know what states I'm passing through but I know where I'm heading. Don't worry, I've got a the Clockwork Orange audiobook, a Dr. Pepper air-freshener, and a GPS so I don't get lost. We figured by now everyone that's a fan of the band might be wondering what we're up to, what we're planning, so I thought I'd write this letter and fill you all in.
We're living, decompressing- The Black Parade took over two years to tour and six months to make so that's a lot of existing in a fictional world, and we're just extremely happy to live in a real one for a while. One thing I can let you know is that we're excited. Genuinely more excited than we have ever been to be in this band, make some new music. And we have ALL been writing new material in our own separate worlds... I started a week after I got home, buying a good rig, an old Jag, and a bunch of pedals- just searching for the next sound.
Bob is recovering well from his recent wrist surgery- exceedingly well considering how risky the procedure can be. We're all really happy that when he picks up the sticks again he won't be in the intense pain he was in during the last year of touring. It's going to take him a while to rehabilitate but knowing him, he will most likely be playing the drums before the doctor says it's a good idea. He just loves playing, we all do. Franks on the road with Leathermouth and Reggie and The Full Effect so you should go see them and get spit on. I know Leathermouth doesn't have a record out yet, but Frank gave it to me in Mexico and I can easily say it's my favorite post-hardcore record of the year, so I know you will at least enjoy the songs if you don't know the words.
One of the best parts of the last five months was getting to see Ray get married and all of us be a part of the wedding. It was beautiful. I'm not sure where the happy couple is right now but I am sure wherever they are, they are really enjoying it. I have never seen him happier in my life. So we made plans to get together soon and make some demos, see where our heads are at, take it slow. If explosions happen in our heads right away who knows how soon we could have a record out, we aren't in any rush but we get just as anxious as you to find out what the next "thing" is going to be.
So that about wraps it up... I'm glad I could stop by for a chat, I think I will do it more often. I'm writing more comics, writing more music, and missing my wife right now. Oh, and I heard a rumor that I died in a car accident. I didn't.
